Working in my capacity as Manager of Central Services in the Strathcona County Recreation, Parks and Culture Department for 22 years offered many opportunities to take part and support local, national and international events. It was a very satisfying part of my position and created lasting memories. I have volunteered numerous years for Strathcona County’s Canada Day Festivals and had the privilege of co-chairing the 2014 Alberta 55+ Games Mini-Marathon event. I am excited to take part in hosting these Summer Games for our Alberta Youth. |
